Lounge Lizards into the Plate Final
4 March 2010 – Liquid Lounge Lizards V’s Phuket Development Cricket Club
In the final round of the season before the finals series, LLL had a chance to pip Patong at the post in reaching the Champions Cup Final, however, the task of scoring over 400 runs was too much to ask.
Also, after their success at the National Youth Games recently, the PDCC was pumped up for a big game. Bowling was good with one memorable ball clean bowling Coach Nifty Cats for a low score.
PDCC managed to take 9 wickets for 321 runs with a much improved fielding display and their usual impressive bowling.
The game was played with great spirit and sportsmanship with both sides seen to be enjoying the day out.
Next week will see the Village Cricket Club V’s the Phuket Developement Cricket Club in a playoff for the Bowl Final.
