KICC wins final game and remains undefeated
21st March 2010 – Kingfisher Island Cricket Club V’s Patong Cricket Club

In another close match the KICC side has proven their long term results are not a fluke by holding off a valiant effort by the Patong boys to win their last game before the finals by 7 runs.
The Patong side was asked to bowl and started off with some strong pace bowling which restricted the run rate quite well, however the long batting line up for KICC was able to withstand the solid fielding efforts and post a score of 179 runs.
The Patong side again lost early wickets however a solid partnership between Anthony Van Blerk and Richard Folds kept their side in the game. Unfortunately for the boys their wickets fell not long after the 3rd drinks break leaving little time for the remaining batsman to set their eyes and knock out the runs.
